Carmela Remigio, Gregory Kunde and Maria Teresa Leva lead the 2022-23 season of the Teatro Regio di Parma

The Teatro Regio di Parma has announced its 2022-23 season with five operas.

Operas

by Mozart “Don Giovanni” will be presented in the production of Mario Martone under the direction of Rafflele Di Florio. Corrado Ravaris directs a cast that includes Vito Priante (Don Giovanni), Mariangela Sicilia (Donna Anna), Marco Ciaponi (Don Ottavio), Giacomo Prestia (Il Commendatore), Carmela Remigio (Donna Elvira), Riccardo Fassi (Leporello), Fabio Previati (Masetto) and Enkeleda Kamani (Zerlina).

Performance dates: January 12-19, 2023

by Cimarosa “The Secret Wedding” will be directed by Roberto Catalano and directed by Davide Levi. The cast includes Giulia Mazzola, Veronika Seghers, Antonio Mandrillo, Bekir Serbest, Claire Gascoin, Maria Gaudenzi, Francesco Leone, Ignas Melnikas, Eleonora Nota, Marilena Ruta, Jan Antem and Ramiro Maturana.

Performance dates: February 10-19, 2023

from Cilee Adriana Lecouvreur will be directed by Italo Nunziata and directed by Francesco Ivan Ciampa. The opera will star Roberto Aronica, Azer Zada, Claudio Sgura, Maria Teresa Leva and Sonia Ganassi.

Performance dates: March 24-31, 2023

The season ends with a double program by Stravinsky “The wedding” and Leoncavallo “Pagliaci”. Andrea Battistoni conducts Stravinsky’s opera in concert with Yulia Tkachenko, Veta Pilipenko, Vasyl Solodkyy and Allen Boxer.

“Pagliacci” will be performed in a production by Franco Zeffirelli with Valeria Sepe (Nedda), Gregory Kunde (Canio), Vladimir Stoyanov (Tonio), Matteo Mezzaro (Peppe) and Alessandro Luongo (Silvio).
