Florida Studio Theater Summer Cabaret Favorites, The Jersey Tenors Return With New Show

Florida Studio Theater (FST) presents The Jersey Tenors – Part II, a new musical revue featuring crowd-pleasing four-part harmony and direction.

Known for mixing iconic operatic classics with rock & roll hits from musicians like Queen and Journey, the Jersey Tenors’ latest cabaret celebrates performing artists on screen. Featuring songs such as “Walk Like A Man”, “Your Song”, “That’s Life”, “Eye of the Tiger”, and more, this thrilling musical revue highlights the quartet’s fresh and original musical arrangements.

Created and engineered by Brian Noonan, The Jersey Tenors – Part II begins playing July 19 at FST’s Goldstein Cabaret. Single tickets are on sale now at FloridaStudioTheatre.org or 941.366.9000.

“The Jersey Tenors are upbeat, funny and amazing singers,” said Catherine Randazzo, an FST associate artist who will provide artistic supervision for the Cabaret. “After touring the world, the Jersey Tenors return to FST with the dramatic singing that first wowed audiences five years ago, but this summer they’ll be mixing brand new material with their signature song choices. .”

The Jersey Tenors made their FST debut in the summer of 2017 to critical and popular acclaim. Venice Gondolier-Sun called the tenors “entertaining” and “fascinating”, while The Observer called the group “talented tenors” and “top male singers”. Audiences said they “got goosebumps upon goosebumps” watching the quartet perform and commented, “Their voices are amazing!”

Over the eight weeks of the show, five different artists will take to the stage at Goldstein Cabaret. Vaden Thurgood, who was last seen at the FST in the Tenors hit Summer Cabaret (2017), will perform for the first three weeks of the run. Starting August 9, 2022, JD Daw, who is making his FST debut, will take over from Thurgood. Daw played George in Sunday in the Park with George (FUSE Productions) and starred in four musicals, including Funny Girl and Spamalot, produced by North Shore Music Theatre.

Brian Noonan, who has over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry and helped create The Jersey Tenors, also returns to FST for the group’s comeback.

“Many of the artists featured in The Jersey Tenors – Part II are from New Jersey,” Noonan said. “We selected the music of artists like Frank Sinatra, Frankie Valli, Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi to be featured on this show because their music is still performed, reproduced and honored to this day. Who hasn’t heard talk about these guys?

Brandon Lambert and Michael Pilato both make their FST debuts with the latest Jersey Tenors review. Lambert is a New York-based songwriter and performer whose musical, Just Laugh, was produced Off-Broadway at the Triad Theater. Pilato was on the national tour of Green Day’s American Idiot and played Jamie in the Sol Theater Group production of The Last Five Years.

The presentation of The Jersey Tenors – Part II by FST is sponsored in part by the State of Florida, the Department of State, the Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts. The production is also supported by the Shubert Foundation, Sarasota County Tourism Development Tax Revenue and The Exchange.
