We learned this morning the sad news that the legendary British actor David Warneran Emmy Award-winning comedian, has died aged 80 from cancer-related illnesses.

“Warner died Sunday at Denville Hall, a care home for those in the entertainment industry,” BBC reporting. “Over the past 18 months he has approached his diagnosis with characteristic grace and dignity,” Warner’s family said in a statement given to the BBC.

The statement continued: ‘He will be sorely missed, his family and friends, and remembered as a kind-hearted, generous and compassionate man, partner and father, whose legacy of extraordinary work has touched the lives of so many over the years. .”
