Pennyroyal Opera Kicks off New Years in Style | News, Sports, Jobs
FAIRVIEW, Ohio – The Pennyroyal Opera House will host a bluegrass show today, Friday, January 7, featuring Remington Ryde.
Formed in 2005, Remington Ryde is made up of singer and guitarist Ryan Frankhouser; Josh Daniels, mandolin and vocals; Billy Lee Cox, banjo; Ron Truman, bass and vocals; and Stanley Efaw on violin and vocals.
These five talented musicians share years of combined recording and performance experience.
Remington Ryde is firmly rooted in the traditions of the early decades of bluegrass and country music.
The band delivers powerful musicality and entertainment, combined with Frankhouser’s soft vocals, which sounds just as good at home with a catchy bluegrass tune as a country mourning filled with tears.
The opening group for tonight will be Cabin Fever.
The kitchen and doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
The Pennyroyal Opera House is 100% volunteer and is located in Fairview, Ohio, just off Interstate 70 at exit 198.
